Phil Robertson Supports Roy Moore
Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson has publically endorsed Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore for a special election. This seat in the Senate was previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The Duck Commander joins action star Chuck Norris and Ambassador Alan Keyes in supporting Moore, who currently leads the polls. Alabama’s former attorney general, Luther Strange, is (as of this writing) in second place.
If neither candidate reaches the 50 percent mark in the primary, a runoff election will be held in September, followed by a December general election.
“Make Our Nation Good Again…”
World Net Daily reports:
“I have been an admirer for some time of Judge Roy Moore,” Robertson said in a statement reported by AL.com. “He judged with a good understanding of the Constitution and the law, but he also understands natural law and who gave us our rights to begin with, Almighty God.”
“Roy Moore will stand up for truth and what’s right, no matter who opposes him, and that is sorely needed in Washington, D.C. I fully endorse his run for the Senate and pray for he and his family.”
“I thank Phil for his support and prayers,” the judge said. “The Robertsons are a great example for the American family. They represent hard work, Christian values, and conservative principles, which is what we need to make our nation great again, and to make our nation good again.”
Chuck Norris Also Supports Moore
Western Journalism reports:
“As reported by Western Journalism, Moore picked up the support of Chuck Norris on Monday, who also lauded Moore’s stands on constitutional principles.”
“Alabama needs Judge Moore there doing what he’s always done: fighting to protect our constitutional rights to life, religious liberty, and the freedom to protect ourselves and our families. And he will always put principle over politics,” Norris said. Moore was elected twice as the chief justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court, defeating establishment candidates in 2000 and 2012.”
